Loss recovery in several steps, laying
This is a trigger template: you can use it to recover your loss from any staking plan on any sports when laying on a single selection.
Just choose the right type of sports and add the necessary conditions to the trigger called "laying".
Here is how the triggers behave.
The laying trigger places a bet with the defined size or defined liability (both can be set using the constants).
If the bet loses, it divides the loss by the specified number of steps and adds that value to the next bet. For example, if you laid £10 at 3.0 and lost £20, then you lay 10 + 20/4 = £15 in the next 4 events. If the loss has been recovered in full, the triggers restart the betting with the initially defined bet size/liability.
If, however, you lose another bet before you have recovered your previous loss, the new loss is added to the existing value, and the triggers again divide it by 4, repeating the above steps. Thus another cycle of loss recovery starts.
The triggers will continue along these lines until the entire loss has been recovered.
Here are some constants you can edit to adjust the settings:
|mins_before_start||When to start betting (minutes before the off)|
|init_liab||Size of liability (% of current bank). Set to 0 if you want to use bet size|
|init_bet||Size of bet size (% of current bank). Set to 0 if you want to use liability|
|cycle_length||Number of steps in the loss recovery cycle|
|max_bets||Maximum number of markets with simultaneous bets. Set 1 if you want 1 bet at a time.|
This is a sample account statement with cycle_length = 3, init_bet = 1, starting bank = 1,000. Latest entries are in the top of the list.
This loss recovery plan can be used in a variety of strategies, such as Laying on Greyhounds with loss recovery.
